Do I need to reconfirm my tour?

“Re-confirmation” is when you call the local tour operator to double-check the logistics of your tour before you begin.

First, check your Ticket to see if re-confirmation is required for your activity (for many activities, it is not necessary). You’ll find this in the “Important Information” section.

If re-confirmation is required, please contact your local tour operator to reconfirm your pickup details at least 24 hours before your activity begins.

Tip: If you won’t be arriving at your destination in time to reconfirm the pickup details (for example: you’re arriving the night before your activity), we recommend that you reconfirm before you travel.

Why did my booking not confirm?

Confirmation is typically received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability. Once we receive notification from our local operator, a second email is sent with either confirmation or notice that the tour is unavailable for your requested time/date.

A tour may return unavailable due to a few different reasons.

  • The tour date or time requested is no longer available
  • Unexpected closures of locations visited or roads used during tour, etc.

We apologize for any inconvenience, however feel free to check our website for similar tours/activities that you may enjoy.

Tours rejected by the Tour Operator will generally be refunded immediately. However, if we have e-mailed you with options for this tour, we may not begin the refund process until we hear back from you concerning those options. Please always be sure to reply as soon as possible with what you would like to do with your tour to give our agents the maximum amount of time to assist you.

For existing reservations, contact details for the local tour operator can be found directly on your ticket under 'Tour Specific Inquiries.'

If you are unable to make a phone call, you may also send them a message directly through our automated system:

  • Make sure you are logged into your account and click Bookings.
  • Locate the booking in question and click 'View Details.'
  • Click 'Contact Tour Operator'
  • Write your message/question and click 'Send.'

Note: This will start a conversation with the local tour operator, however, they may not reply immediately. Once a reply is sent, you will be notified at the email address associated with your account/booking.
